Here in Sonoma County we like our alcohol, and love our wine. Another thing about Sonoma County residents is that we like to be healthy and fit. In lies the dilemma that so many of our residents are met with. So what’s more important? To enjoy a few glasses of wine with dinner or to limit alcohol consumption to maybe 1-2 drinks per week to help lose weight and get fit? Sorry if I go off on a random tangent but this is a subject matter that I seem to deal with on a daily basis. I have clients coming to me wanting to get healthy and lose weight but then I see pictures of them on Facebook out drinking the night away. I’m going to be blunt..If you continue to drink wine/alcohol on a daily basis, you’re not going to see any results!!! Period!  - via socobootcamp.com

A blog post on drinking and attempting to lose weight that I have been attempting to listen to... Everything that he wrote is common sense, but living where I live, and working with amazing restaurants and wineries like I do makes it really tough. I tell people I eat and drink for a living, which means going to wine events and socializing is just part of the job.

Just sounds like I am making excuses right....

Well, it is time to start having a bit more control, which is why I have been on my version of a cleanse lately... Trying to change my normal bad routines and add additional good routines. More about what those are to come.

I seriously recommend anyone else who eats and drinks for a living to at least read Jeff's post!
